ADOPT-A-STUDENT Here at Our Redeemer we have a number of families who want to "adopt" you. While you are away at college, our members want you to have a home-away-from-home where you can do FREE Laundry, have a FREE meal, and things like that. They would also be willing to pick you up for church and other such events as we approach the cold winter months. Would you be interested in being "adopted"? It’s a great way to really feel like a part of our congregation and also a pretty certain way to ensure yourself the occasional pan of brownies or bag of cookies. “The Vine” Blurb
Homosexuality. Abortion. Stress & Anxiety. Religion & Politics. Prayer. Sex. Come and tackle the tough issues with us. "The Vine" meets every Tuesday night at 8:00 in the college room and then heads to an area coffee shop or restaurant. We strive to talk about real-life issues and their spiritual implications, a great place for conversation and guidance concerning what it means to be a Christian and a college student at the same time!
“The Vine” is an informal gathering Tuesday nights at 8:00. It’s a safe place to wrestle with some of the difficult situations and taboo topics that are all over your campus—a great chance for personal growth in your faith and grappling with what it means to be both a college student and a Christian at the same time. |
