LIC QUILT AUCTION & CHAPEL RE-DEDICATION

On Saturday, August 7 th beginning at 9 AM. Car pool will leave Our Redeemer parking lot at 7:15 AM. Sign-up on the Ministry Action Board.

 

 

LIC OLD FASHIONED MISSION FESTIVAL

 

Make A World For Christ is the appeal that the Minnesota North District and Lutheran Island Camp are doing together. The first major public event will be held on Sunday, August 8 th and will be an old-fashioned mission festival complete with choirs, food, entertainment, recreation, horse drawn wagon rides and more. Join hundreds of people from around Minnesota as they Celebrate God’s blessings in our district through Lutheran Island Camp. Festivities begin with music followed by the worship service at 2 PM. Car pool will leave Our Redeemer parking lot at 12 noon. Sign-up on the Ministry Action Board.

 

Sunday Summer Fun in the Park

Come one! Come all! After worship every Sunday everyone is welcome to come to Lamb Park just 2 blocks from church (13 th St &14 th Ave.) for fellowship and fun! Feel free to bring a brown bag or picnic style lunch or just come to play and talk. We hope to see you there!

New session of GriefShare beginning Sunday, September 12 at 7pm. A new session of GriefShare will begin Sunday, September 12 at 7pm in the Fellowship Center at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church and meet for 13 weeks. What is GriefShare?

 

GriefShare is a special seminar and support group for people grieving the loss of someone close. Each week we will watch and discuss a video featuring biblical teaching on grief and recovery topics. You’ll have a workbook for personal study and to write down things you’ve learned. You’ll probably feel a little nervous about going to GriefShare the first time. Those feelings go away quickly for most people, usually during the first session they attend. GriefShare is a warm, caring environment designed to help you. This group is open to the community.

 

Please encourage those to come who may benefit from this group. Even if you have attended this group in the past, you are most welcome to attend again.

 

Our Redeemer Lutheran Church Shuttle Bus runs Sunday mornings to bring worshipers to 10:30 church service. The current route will pick up anyone at these locations: 
 
 

      10 AM  Eventide Linden Tree Circle Entrance  

      10:10 AM  Parking lot outside of Old Main at Concordia   

      10:15 AM  MSUM, Parking lot D, outside of Dahl, Grantham, Nelson Halls

 

      10:20 AM  Arrival at Our Redeemer

If you or someone you know would like a ride on the bus to the Sunday morning 10:30am church service please contact Pastor Ted or Collette Christoffers. The bus will be making stops at Eventide, Concordia, and MSUM plus personal homes upon request at no charge.
